A variation of Sensation

DjaneMag: You have a provocative nickname. Who is the author of it?

Sexation: I think my name is not really provocative, it's more about an attractive name :) It's a variation of Sensation, but seXation. But we are in a process of changing the artistic name. As you can see, most events over the World start using the name OLGA RYAZANOVA.

DjaneMag: Being a female DJs, how it looks like?

OLGA RYAZANOVA: Absolutely the same then being one men dj :) Sometimes it can be more fun!

DjaneMag: What was the coolest club or festival where you worked, name please country and city?

OLGA: On these last 6 years of Carrer, I made 150 gigs per year average in more than 25 different countries. It's not easy evaluate the best club or festival, but exists some events and clubs that were in my memory, like Nikki Beach Marbella, Nikki Beach Palma de Malorca, Xmas Festival Italy, Beach Land Festival in Belgium where i play all the years, NB Coimbra, BCM clubs Palma de Malorca. The biggest surprise was Pacha La Peneda in Spain where i was very surprised, obviously not forgettingmy clubs in Portugal like Eskada, Kiay, Ice Club Viseu, Main Lisbon, fantastic festivals in Azores islands and others. They are so many that gave me positive emotions that i can't specify only 1.

DjaneMag: Is there any female Dj you admire and want to play with?

OLGA: Yes, i like a lot Nina Kraviz. When she play you can see how much she feels the music and the people. And of course i love Nervo. They are so positive, so professionals and always give us a good vibe when they are playing!

DjaneMag: What style of music do you play and what style of music do you listen at home?

OLGA: I play house, house commercial and for Festivals some nice edits of electro :) In my set you can listen maybe 3 or 4 different styles like trap, hip hop classic, new songs from dance music. I play in lot of sunsets and premium Clubs where I love play a pure house and funk :)

DjaneMag: What are your biggest sources of inspiration when you are mixing or producing music?

OLGA: They are absolutely 2 different things, also about give me strong feelings! When I produce I stay alone with myself and my soul. When I'm playing I receive lot of love from the public and that's what makes me really happy on the moment!

Pros and cons of a Dj life

DjaneMag:  What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?

OLGA:The Most enjoyable part of my job is that I don't see it just like job, it's one hobby what I love to do!

DjaneMag: What’s the most difficult thing about your job?

OLGA:The most difficult for me it's that I don't have time to sleep, and I love sleep. But everytime I travel I'm excited to know the country and try some traditional food. I like arrive to the party earlier than when I should start to play for enjoy the public, and then many times after the show I have my next flight, and sleep on the plane….lol it's one hard art.

And lastly…
